Proposed development: Braybrooke Road, Hastings

Property developers EXIT Asset Management are proposing to develop the vacant site on Braybrooke Road, Hastings, with a high quality housing development with integral parking.  Architects
RH Partnership were commissioned to draw up initial design concepts for public consultation in March 2008.

A series of workshops took place for residents, businesses, special interest groups and council officers, followed by an exhibition for councillors. 500 letters and invitations were sent out to local residents inviting them to attend.

The consultation events provided an opportunity for people to comment on the initial proposals and express any concerns at an early stage.  All comments were fed back into the design process and RH Partnership developed a revised scheme, taking into account many of your concerns. A planning application has been submitted to Hastings Borough Council (August 2008) and you are encouraged to comment as part of the statutory consultation process.
